    General Travel Tip #23145 - Postcard Prep

    When packing for our trip we have many friends and family we "plan" to send postcards. We print a sheet of address labels from our computer mailing list. We attach a sheet of postcard stamps. When we arrive at our destination, we purchase postcards on our arrival and use down time to write the cards. At Walt Disney World the cards help to keep the kids occupied while waiting in lines, for parades, the rest of the family to get ready in the morning, for shows, riding the bus, etc. The kids keep an eye out for mailboxes as we travel about and drop any cards ready for mailing in the mail. A "chore" mommy used to dread during vacation has became fun and inclusive for the whole family.
