    Walt Disney World Tip #1919 - Creating Holiday Magic at Fort Wilderness

    I've heard how AMAZING Fort Wilderness campground is during the holidays. But what I didn't expect to see was the wonderful cabin windows that were decorated. Some displays were VERY elaborate for such a small space... incredibly creative!!!! It was nice, after returning to the hotel but not ready to end the day, to take a walk around a different building each night to see all the amazing decorations. I have to say though, the best idea I came across was one of those plastic Christmas door coverings. The guests strung a string of candy canes across the door and allowed guests to take one if you signed the decoration. Each remaining night, I would stop by again, just to read the new additions. What a great souvenir that would be to take home. On our next holiday trip, we'll be doing this, too!
