    Walt Disney World Tip #2589 - Birthday Button Blitz


    At level 3, you can mark this tip as a favorite!
    When heading to Walt Disney World be sure to pick up an "I'm Celebrating" pin. They are free and available at most Disney hotel front desks and Guest Relations locations. On our recent visit my 5 year old son wore his "birthday" button everyday. (His birthday was the week before but we celebrated all week). Besides the dozens of "Happy Birthday" wishes he got from cast members and passers-by he got lots of special treatment too. He got a few free cupcakes at dinner, a special phone call from Goofy at the Studios, and had the special birthday seat on our safari ride. Everyone in Beaches and Cream sang him happy birthday, got a private meeting with Chip and Dale at the campfire and a complete stranger gave him $5.00. One for every year! So you see it isn't just Disney - the guests really get into the spirit of things as well. It really was an awesome experience.
