General Travel Tip #2063 - Try a QR Code

Up until now when we traveled we would type up our contact information along with our resort information. We would place these laminated cards in All of our belongings. Well this just got a bit easier.. In this day in time just about everyone has a smartphone. With that comes a barcode scanner app. So with this I have a way of adding this information to your belongings. You can make your own QR code. Print these out as stickers or cards. The stickers I use to attach to my electronics. The cards I put in the luggage tag. Your information is all there, but not as easy for people to steal! I made mine up as a sms. This way if someone finds my belongings they can scan the QR code and just send me a text message saying they found my belongings. Here is a link to a site to make your own personal QR Code.
