    Disney Cruise Line Tip #24631 - Gifts of Gratitude for Disney Cruise Cast Members

    On a recent Disney cruise we took small, handmade gifts to give to Crew and Cast Members that truly exemplified Disney “Magic.” I make very small wooden jigsaw puzzles from postage stamps and these always cause surprise and delight from the recipients. We also ask if we can have our picture taken with the recipients. They are thrilled that we show that much interest in them. Besides, we have fun spreading our own grateful “magic.” At the end of the cruise when we fill out our evaluation form, we take the time to hand-write specific compliments about Crew and Cast Members by name. We found out later that the Captain reads them publicly. This helped one new Cast Member earn her ears. That really made us smile!
