Walt Disney World Tip #24888 - Extend the Battery Life of Your Phone

The drain on our phone batteries in the parks is constant, here is a tip to extend the battery life. Don't be this guy.... 1. Pulls phone out of pocket 2. Hits the home button to wake up the display 3. Needs to unlock the phone, punches in 4 digits 4. Finds the My Disney Experience app and opens it 5. Searches for the time of the next event 6. Shuts down the phone ....all while using valuable battery life Instead, be this guy... 1. In the hotel room the night before, takes a screenshot of the next days events with times and locations from the My Disney Experience App 2. Uses the screenshot as their wake-up picture, thereby displaying all relevant information on their phone with just a tap using just 3 seconds of battery power. But wait, there's more! If you happen to lose your phone, the friendly Disney park-goer knows where you will be because they have your agenda on your lock screen and they don't need your passcode to see it! Change the photo the night before, charge the phone and start each day ready to go and save battery life. You can always change the screenshot back when you get home.
